April 24th, 2024, was a BIG day for Tennesseans with disabilities. The TennCare for Working Adults with Disabilities Act was officially passed! This bill will allow Tennesseeans with disabilities to pay a premium to access Medicaid services regardless of their income or assets. A major thank you to Senator Bo Watson and Representative Tim Hicks for sponsoring this bill and to everyone who advocated for and supported this bill. Together, we passed a bill that will be life-changing for Tennesseans with disabilities across the state!
